Four years ago, #Saudi human rights defender Abdullah al-Hamid died in detention due to being denied medical care by the authorities.

He dedicated his life to pursuing reform, and was awarded the Right Livelihood award for his visionary efforts.

His legacy lives on.

Today marks seven years since the arrest and forcible disappearance of #Saudi cleric Sulaiman al-Dowaish due to his peaceful social media use. His fate is still unknown.
