The Read-a-thon ⁦Franklin Elementary⁩ has been a tremendous success. Our students met the reading goal of reading 100,000 over a 2 week span…and we surpassed the goal early!!! Looks like Dr. Wright will be spending a day on the roof very soon. ⁦LPS53⁩

Staff ⁦Franklin Elementary⁩ received this note from a father today along w/ the delivery of 3 dozen donuts. The note came from a family that is relatively new to Franklin. We are honored to serve and take care of students and families in our school. ⁦LPS53⁩

5th grade students ⁦Franklin Elementary⁩ take the lead in the canned food drive in support of Liberty Christmas Tree. This PBL has our students creating advertisements, developing marketing strategies and making announcements to generate participation. ⁦LPS53⁩

2nd grade students deeply engaged as they engineer and construct roller coasters ⁦Franklin Elementary⁩ in ⁦Ashley Allen⁩. Noteworthy: When asking the students, “what are you learning?” Each of them responded, “Gravity”…instead of saying “roller coasters” SIGNIFICANT!
