Pupils from Ty Glas at Maes Derw School had great fun doing cycle skills in the sunshine. Lots of fantastic skills were shown and the class was so supportive of each other. Great work being done there to encourage independent, resilient young people.

A successful trip with an Eco Council to reuse centre at the recycling centre to find some scooters for scooter break time. What a fabulous way for pupils to learn how to choose and purchase second hand items and the importance of reusing and recycling. ♻️🛴

Productive 2 days at Gilfach Fargoed Primary School and #parkprimaryschool in Bargoed. Two Dr. Bike sessions for this years #BigWalkAndWheel. Also fantastic cycle storage on (Newish) Trafnidiaeth Cymru Trenau Transport for Wales Rail making multi modal travel easy and comfortable!

On the second week of #bigwalkandwheel I enjoyed 2 days of scooter skills at Roath Park Primary I’ve been blown away by the efforts at Roath and their super special school champion for promoting BWAW25. AND… FIRST LARGE PRIMARY in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿!! With a MASSIVE 91.5% travelling actively!!!!!
