In this 1954 ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ film and in other older ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟrecorded liturgies i have noted Amen pronounced as A- (as in Hay) rather than A- (as in Our) men - today that sounds very ๐บ๐ธ but in the 1950s it was accepted ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ use - what happened so suddenly to change the pronunciation?
