On the sidelines of the 36th #AUSummit, African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA) chair H.E President Umaro Sissoco Embaló has unveiled 7 winners of the inaugural Joyce Kafanabo Awards (​#JKAwards) that honor innovation and excellence ​among member states in digitalisation and ​advancement of scorecard tools.

The #JKAwards are named after the late Joyce Kafanabo, former Senior Director at African Leaders Malaria Alliance (ALMA) and passionate health advocate. "These awards are a fitting tribute to the legacy she had on the fight against malaria and other diseases," said H.E President Umaro Sissoco Embaló.
