Washington may be in chaos, but the work of the FCC must continue. That's why I recently traveled to California to meet with television studio executives, labor unions in the entertainment sector, and companies in the space industry.

I was also grateful to have the chance to stop by established and emerging companies in Los Angeles and San Francisco that are part of the growing space economy.

Space is an exciting frontier of discovery and innovation. Explosive growth in this sector, domestically and internationally, has meant new opportunities for entrepreneurs and visionaries, but it also raises new questions for regulators like the FCC.
