It was great to record a session with Alex ⁦Altrincham HQ - Social Media Marketing in Manc⁩ this morning to be used as part of our year 11 careers programme on personal branding and social media. We love collaborating with local businesses to give students the best support possible.

This lunchtime we had Barrister and Judge Kirsty McKinlay from ⁦9 St John Street (now Nine Chambers)⁩ chambers to talk to our learners. The session was informative and engaging, it gave the students a thorough insight into the realities of a career in the legal profession.

I had a catch up with 2022 leaver Sami Mhar who has begun a degree apprenticeship in surveying with @HarworthGroup. To hear how much he’s enjoying it and the passion he has for the job was fantastic. It’s lovely to follow learners journeys beyond school #agsbalumni

We had a visit into Manchester this morning with some year 12’s for the Engineering and tech careers fair. The students pro actively engaged with the companies in attendance and many have now made connections for summer placement opportunities and beyond.
