A student with a visual impairment needed help keeping her fingers safe while using a scooter. We cut a pool noodle in half then cut it long ways & it fit perfect. She loved it and was able to know where to keep her fingers on the scooter. MAPEC SHAPE America #AdaptedPE

The power of visuals & schedules!! I used this visual schedule during an Adapted PE assessment. This visual truly helped a student focus, understand, & know when the assessment was over, ha! I ❤️ visuals! Lots of student choice of equipment helped motivate him too. SHAPE America
