Luverne, Alabama is definitely a Pepsi town! Director Boswell joined Governor Kay Ivey & others this morning to mark the opening of the new warehouse for Pepsi Pepsi Luverne, which distributes to many counties. An ADECA grant helped fund needed infrastructure for the new facility.

It might have been rainy, but the outlook in Tuskegee & Macon County is bright after today’s ceremonial opening of a new electrical substation in Tuskegee Commerce Park. The station will help supply needed power to the Samkee auto supplier facility as well as future industries.

It has been a busy but productive week on the road. Earlier in the week, Director Kenneth Boswell and Deputy Director Ashley Toole visited to the town of Brilliant in Marion County to meet with Mayor Perry Franks and discuss community needs and ADECA grant programs.
