Introducing @DamalieNakanjako – ADAPT PI, Makerere University , Uganda Prof. Dr. Nakanjako, principal of the College of Health Sciences at Makerere University, brings invaluable expertise to the ADAPT consortium, improving surveillance and responsible antibiotic use in Sub-Saharan Africa.


Meet Dr. Julius Okuni! An associate professor at Makerere University, Uganda, he specializes in veterinary diagnostics and supports the ADAPT consortium on surveillance and hygienic practices in livestock husbandry to reduce antibiotic use addressing the global challenge of #AMR #OneHealth


Meet Prof. Yakhya Dieye, ADAPT PI from Institut Institut Pasteur de Dakar. As head of Microbiology and a faculty member at Université Cheikh Anta Diop, he’s a leader in AMR research.His work is key to advancing AMR surveillance and fighting antibiotic resistance #AMR #Microbiology #OneHealth


🌍 Strengthening collaboration to combat #AMR The Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR) team introduced ADAPT: Key stakeholders from the Ghana Health Service, AFREhealth and local health institutions discussed bridging research and policy & developing innovative tools for #AMRsurveillance.#CapacityBuilding
