As anyone who has lived with #cancer will know, it's the people who take the time to help who are invaluable. We encourage you to be somebody's #hero who needs one, whether it's getting shopping for an elderly person or giving a call to someone who might be lonely. #coronavirus

It's amazing so many people celebrated our brave health services yesterday. Now, we must ensure that the NHS get the resources they need to do their jobs safely and effectively. When this crisis is over, that's a lesson we must remember. #thankyouNHS #clapforourcarers #act4cancer

Please read this moving story in the Guardian, about how lockdown is impacting terminal cancer patients. Policymakers must ensure that people who may not live through this crisis are considered with the compassion they deserve. #cancer #act4cancer #COVID19 ow.ly/Y8nh50z4rXl

Most people get a bank holiday. The NHS doesn't. Please come out today at 8pm and #clapforourcarers. We are proud of the amazing work that nurses, doctors and care workers are doing in the UK. Please join us in supporting them. #thankyouNHS #act4cancer #cancer #coronavirus #NHS

Cancer care should never be neglected. At today's Health and Social Care Select Committee session with Matt Hancock, the Health Secretary was rightly challenged on issue. We hope to see meaningful action on this in the coming days. #cancer #act4cancer #COVID19 #coronavirus #DHSC

Hard-to-treat cancer diagnoses aren't as rare as we think. At ACT we believe in fostering a trusting relationship between patients, oncologists, and treatment centers to help find treatments that my offer a better quality of life outcome. #EveryChanceforEveryone

ACT and its definition have evolved over the years and that is a testament to the fact that even we, in our own advocacy, need to be adaptive and agile at all times. #cancer #patients #cancertreatment #oncologists #everychanceforeveryone #cancerawareness #cancerresearch

We can do better by ensuring that patients have an understandable pathway to navigate interventions that lie outside standard-care. We want to help patients and oncologists make more confident choices with innovative treatments. #cancer #canceresearch #patients #oncologists

Some seasons we find ourselves with a little bit more than the last, a little bit more than what others have and that is a good reason to share whatever you can with ACT, as we work relentlessly to ensure quality cancer care access to all. Happy Holidays! justgiving.com/campaign/ACTfo…
