Thank you to volunteers from the ACTSES who responded to 101 requests for assistance during Canberra’s recent high-wind weather event. They were supported by crews from ACTF&R, the ACTRFS and the ACT PCS – with the services working together to clear fallen trees and debris.

ACTRFS and ACT PCS personnel are arriving home, after being on deployment in Canada and the United States, to help battle wildfires there. Great job everyone, and we also thank the families, and employers, of our firefighters, for supporting them going on these deployments.
