Chemical "magic" you can do at home. It works well on filter paper or a coffee filter. Printer paper can be used but the colours are less intense and the colour change is more subtle. #KitchenChemistry x.com/AlchemistAngus…

We don’t eat iron nails, or chunks of explosive sodium metal, or copper pennies. We consume iron ions, sodium ions, and copper ions. I think I want to highlight this difference as a phenomenon for atoms and the periodic table.
