.Harry B. Bronson do not go on summer vacation until you have made improvements to NY's paid medical leave program. Cancer patients don’t get a break from their treatment, you should not adjourn without passing S2821A / A4053A. #FightCancerNY

The idea that Carl E. Heastie and Sen. Stewart-Cousins would let state lawmakers go on vacation for the summer without ensuring that improvements are made to New York's paid family and medical leave program is outrageous. They must pass A10561 / S 9840.

The NYS Assembly and Carl E. Heastie just pulled the paid medical leave bill from the agenda. It appears that the Assembly is going to go on summer vacation without ensuring that cancer patients can take time off for their cancer treatment. Shame on them! Nick Reisman Tim Williams

The Senate voted 54-6 to improve paid medical leave for NYers. Unfortunately, it appears that Speaker Carl E. Heastie and Press Office are going to leave millions of cancer patients without access to paid medical leave, meanwhile they are about to go on paid vacation. Shameful.

Thank you Nicole Malliotakis for your cosponsorship of the Medicare #MCED Act. Your support can make the difference for detecting cancer earlier. Will we see you at Ways and Means Committee Ways and Means Democrats mark up tomorrow?

We're on Capitol Hill today with ACS CAN volunteers for the Ways and Means Committee Ways and Means Democrats mark-up of the #MCEDAct! Early cancer detection can save lives. With 1 million Medicare enrollees expected to be diagnosed with cancer this year, it's urgent Congress pass this bill.

What a day! We are a step closer to Congress passing this critical legislation to ensure that Medicare enrollees have access to #MCED tests once the tests have been approved by U.S. FDA and clinical benefit has been shown. Thank you Rep. Terri A. Sewell for your leadership!

On this 2nd day of #ProstateCancerAwarenessMonth, I share my gratitude for Alonzo Mourning. As we discussed at our first meeting, we share the goal to ensure that fewer men suffer from advanced prostate cancer. Early detection is critical. Get screened! And.. TY, Zo! American Cancer Society
