.Harry B. Bronson do not go on summer vacation until you have made improvements to NY's paid medical leave program. Cancer patients don’t get a break from their treatment, you should not adjourn without passing S2821A / A4053A. #FightCancerNY

The idea that Carl E. Heastie and Sen. Stewart-Cousins would let state lawmakers go on vacation for the summer without ensuring that improvements are made to New York's paid family and medical leave program is outrageous. They must pass A10561 / S 9840.
The NYS Assembly and Carl E. Heastie just pulled the paid medical leave bill from the agenda. It appears that the Assembly is going to go on summer vacation without ensuring that cancer patients can take time off for their cancer treatment. Shame on them! Nick Reisman Tim Williams
The NYS Assembly and Helene Weinstein just pulled the paid medical leave bill from the agenda. It appears that the Assembly is going to go on summer vacation without ensuring that cancer patients can take time off for their cancer treatment. Shame on them! #FightCancerNY
The Senate voted 54-6 to improve paid medical leave for NYers. Unfortunately, it appears that Speaker Carl E. Heastie and Press Office are going to leave millions of cancer patients without access to paid medical leave, meanwhile they are about to go on paid vacation. Shameful.
