On November 12, 1895, the fragment of a wrecked #vessel was discovered about four miles NE of #GreatPoint. The stem of what was concluded to be an English built #ship was visible on a #shoal. The ship's #identity couldn't be ascertained, but it was surmised she had broken in two.
