Just back from Central Asia after the B5+1 Forum in Bishkek and meetings in Dushanbe. What stood out most: education and exchange are not peripheral to economic growth. They are accelerants. Met so many alumni leading companies, shaping policy, and strengthening U.S.–CAR ties.

Looking forward to representing American Councils for International Education at the Alliance Advocacy Day in D.C. next week. Alliance members will meet with Congress to share the powerful impact international exchanges have on states and districts nationwide and why these programs matter now more than ever.
