Thank you so much, Radosław Sikorski 🇵🇱🇪🇺, for taking the time in your busy schedule to meet. It was a very important conversation about supporting Russians who share anti-Putin and anti-war views, about the increasing political repression in Russia, and the need to collectively fight

12/14 The lists are specific to each country. They consider existing sanctions, local assets/connections, and our assessment of the probability of imposing such sanctions. For example, Gazprom's CEO, Miller, is sanctioned by the USA and UK but not by the EU. That's just wrong.

8/14 Based on over 10 years of experience combating corruption, including the export of Russian corruption abroad, we've compiled country-specific lists of 50 individuals for impactful sanctions. These lists are derived from our earlier list of 6,000 bribe-takers and warmongers.

7/14 Forgive me for stating the obvious, but for sanctions to work, they need to be designed to damage Putin’s regime. They need to be painful; otherwise, it’s all just a waste of time and resources.

6/14 Completely useless. I'm sure people in the Kremlin are laughing and celebrating. They killed the leader of the Russian opposition, got rid of Putin’s biggest problem. They killed hope for change in Russia. And they got away with it.

5/14 The reaction to such 'sanctions' was predictable. They are disappointing. So then the EU announces their 'Navalny' sanctions package. My expectations were low, but I hoped they had learned the lesson. Nope. The EU has sanctioned 33 PRISON OFFICERS AND JUDGES.

4/14 What’s the point of freezing their assets in the UK? They don’t have any assets. Not in Britain, not in Europe, nowhere. They’d never apply for a British visa to be rejected; that thought wouldn’t even cross their minds. They are prison guards in an Arctic Gulag.

3/14 It's actually worse than none. The UK sanctions package in response to Navalny's murder included six individuals. Six prison employees who live in the village of Kharp. These people most likely haven't even considered traveling abroad, perhaps not even outside their region.

2/14 We've heard countless times from world leaders that Putin is personally responsible for Navalny's life and safety. If a hair falls from Navalny's head, Putin is in trouble. Well, now Navalny is dead. What were the consequences for Putin? NONE.

1/14 Politicians are often asked, 'What have you done in your first 100 days in office?' It's a symbolic amount of time, of course, but enough to show some intent. So today, I would like to ask Western officials, 'What have you done in the 100 days since Alexei Navalny's murder?'

Our lawyers (Alexander Pomazuev) and our most hardworking volunteers have done an immence job collecting data on hundreds of Putin's official endorsers. Full names, birth dates, positions, connections to the regime. All of this forms the core of the evidence packs for imposing sanctions.

But it's important to document and publicly disclose how the story with the 'authorised representatives' initative concluded. There was a simple and elegant solution, supported by many politicians, but for unclear reasons, it was never put into action.

Yet again, the bureaucracy wins, and common sense loses. Just a few weeks before the election, my boss, Alexei Navalny, was murdered in prison. Understandably, this has changed our work significantly. We are revising our sanctions approach and will present it shortly.

Ever wondered what happened to this? It was a widely discussed and supported initiative to sanction Putin's 'authorised representatives'. Those individuals who endorsed and officially participated in Putin's electoral campaign. Here is the answer: nothing. Nothing has happened.
