Just imagine we had the recording of a 6 year old Israeli girl, desperately ringing the emergency services after Hamas militants slaughtered her relatives in a car, including 3 other kids. Imagine we also had a prior recording of her 15 year old cousin, desperately pleading for

From trains to cranes, an event to highlight the extent of #levellingUp already taking place. LeaderofBirmingham and #SolihullMBC leader opening the event, with other key speakers. Sharing dizzying numbers like: £10bln investment in the next 10 years. #HS2ITWM

As a keen listener to Empire Podcast and The Rest Is History, I find them both rich in information, and even entertaining. They can be too western-centric though. They seem to hardly bother with native scholarship, when it comes to Islamic and Arab history, which I am familiar with 1/2

Fantastic turnout by Canal & River Trust West Midlands #volunteers for the new season briefing in the Droitwich area. It is these volunteers working with colleagues that help maintain safe and welcoming 2000 miles of waterways for all to enjoy. #volunteerbywater Canal & River Trust

Today is the end of nearly six years as Director for West Midlands Canal & River Trust West Midlands at the Canal & River Trust. One of the most enjoyable & rewarding roles of my nearly 40-year career. Thank you to all colleagues and volunteers who made it so. Miss you all already. #KeepCanalsAlive
