@AASI_Amsha This is a misconception that north indians dressed any different from south. History of blouse n petticoat can be traced from a simple fact that both do not have any hindi or sanskrit term. Even today strict brahmin food is cooked wearing single unstitched garment dhoti or saree.

@AASI_Amsha I for one fully support levelling half of Delhi and rebuilding it haussmanian style with big avenues and dense mixed use real estate.

People give too much importance to being 'original' and 'not being tacky'.

Hiranandani Gardens is indeed an attempt at copy-paste of Italian aesthetics into modern buildings. But it looks decent.

Now you'll have Jane Austen readers from slum in Byculla call it 'tacky'.

@AASI_Amsha Not covering breast back then in Kerala isn't something to be marked uncivilized or uncouth.
They didnt cover the their breast bcoz neither men nor women saw it as something sexual, to be ashamed of that needes to stay hidden, until the modern era where everything is objectified.

East Bihar is most lawless place in India i believe i remember @AASI_amsha once told story about how ahirs in that area used to talk with senior government officials by putting gun on their desk and how his father lost a friend in a gang war their.

Nowadays, I am seeing JUST SO MANY Twitter accounts adding 'Amsha' into their username.

Why are they doing that?

It's even funnier that one of the OG Amsha accounts @AASI_Amsha himself dropped 'Amsha' and changed his username to @GovMagadha.

Is it a new trend or what?
