Anyone any clue why there is the need to close the S-bound side of the A40 Cycle Path cycle path at Wolvercote? There's apparently nothing at all being done on the path?? Oxfordshire County Council

This pole appeared in the middle of the A40 Cycle Path cycle path - it is lethally positioned (I nearly rode into it last night with oncoming headlights and torrential rain).

Spent 10 min adorning it this morning with reflective tape. Oxfordshire County Council how about moving it?

A40 Cycle Path Badly Parked Oxford Lorry parked across A40 Wolvercote path crossing. Only way round is to go into oncoming traffic on the A40. Which is exactly what the driver shouted I do as I took this photo.

Oxfordshire County Council A40 Cycle Path It’s gone! Just cycled past and it’s disappeared.

WU10 ZRN - conveniently left blocking the entire southern cycle path/pavement on the A40 at Cassington Halt this morning. Badly Parked Oxford You Park Like a C***

Oxfordshire County Council A40 Cycle Path there is a car abandoned on the cycle path of the A40, on the left as you go towards Witney, between Worton and the Cassington lights. It is dangerous as you have to dismount and go into the road to get past.

There is a dedicated cyclepath which follows the A40 from Witney to Oxford and beyond. But I’m not aware of any cyclepath on the section between Cheltenham > Witney. I think there are some reasonably quiet roads though. Can any of my followers advise?

A40 Cycle Path thank goodness they have cut the grass on the A40 cycle path from Wolvercote to Eynsham and most of northern bypass. Met the guy who was still cutting it and stopped to thank him. Need an ice cream van there now.

The latest A40 Oxford North schemes are open with 'traffic restrictions lifted', and shared #walking #cycling paths and new crossings open.
We'll be looking forward to reports and trying it out.

A40 Cycle Path big tree down blocking the path on the left side heading towards Oxford just after the Cassington lights. Very dangerous as you have to get off the bike and go into the road to get past. Not much fun in the rain this morning.

More fun on the A40 Cycle Path roadworks about to happen near Casington. So where do you put the road signs? Right in the bike path obviously.

A40 Cycle Path North side Cycle path is now open at wolvercote Yey! But there is another deadly chicane.

They’ve put in temporary tarmac ramps now so we can cycle in a straight line across this traffic island. I wonder if they will be re-done as a permanent feature? Someone was listening.
