Participants have gone through step by step training on how to operate computers and mobile phones, how to use the internet, google search, google maps, online services, shopping and social media usage. Every participant receives a certificate at the end of the training.

We are at Namisindwa District Headquarters to enhance ICT adoption for smallholder farmers. Earlier on, the District LCV Chairperson, Mr. Bwayo James addressed the farmers and reminded them to pay keen attention and engage trainers if they want to benefit from the training.

We also took them through different E-government services( which excited most of the participants with very many questions following taxation and Tin numbers ).

They greatly appreciated the toll free line for farmers, the UCC toll free and the ICT4farmers platform.

We had a successful two day digital skills training session for farmers in Rutookye, Mitooma District where we trained 112 farmers on introduction to digital devices, using basic digital devices and applications, connecting to the internet and online safety.

UCC Ministry of ICT&NG Eight Learning Institute of Technology & Mgt There was alot of excitement among participants on using computers, and they expressed need for more of such trainings.
