@shanenewville I took the battery out to drain any electricity left. I heard a click and the screen went fuzzy. Won't turn back on at all

I may have to postpone my update this week a few days again. My laptop decided to end its life early. Now I get to transfer the data tonight

This laptop is definitely dead and it isn't worth replacing the motherboard. I am going to transfer the data then maybe film destroying it.
