Chelsea Car 3 ordered box 312 after receiving a verbal report to Headquarters that the roof of the Verizon building next door was on fire, earlier this afternoon. Crews made quick work of a fire in the building’s ventilation shaft on the roof.

Chelsea Engine 4’s 2024 Pierce Enforcer operating at the working fire this afternoon. Engine 4 was placed back into service in March, after being disbanded for 30 years.

Cambridge Engine 5, Ladder 1, Rescue 1, Squad 3 and Division 1 operate on the scene of an MVA on Broadway, yesterday afternoon. The car struck a gas meter on a building, causing a leak. Crews stood by with a line until the leak was secured. The driver was transported by Pro EMS.

A central station alarm notified Somerville Firefighters of a working fire in a 2 story warehouse on South St near the Cambridge Line. The fire was mostly knocked down by sprinklers on arrival, and crews ran a line to check for extension and overhaul.

Cambridge Firefighters stretch lines and go to work at a reported structure fire in a 7 story OMD on Mt. Auburn St in Harvard Square. Upon investigation, an issue was isolated to a ceiling-mounted electrical unit, with no fire.

Firefighters use master streams to battle a 5 alarm blaze that tore through 5 Lowell St buildings in Lawrence yesterday evening.
