Today we recognize the spouses of those men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. We honor their strength and resilience.

Today was a somber day as we held a Memorial Ceremony for fallen Wildcat, LTC Vincent P. Murtaugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

The 81st RD partnered with Army Recruiting Battalion Columbia for a STEM event at Blythewood High School. Had a great time talking with more than 200 Seniors & Juniors about having purpose, along with many of the job opportunities in the U.S. Army Reserve #WildcatsNeverQuit

There is no better way to end the work week than by promoting Soldiers. Congratulations to now, MSG Kamesse and SSG Cosby on their promotion. Thank you to the family members who support and serve right alongside. The Army Reserve is better because of these amazing Soldiers!

MG Bob D. Harter was the guest speaker at University of South Carolina’s Fall ROTC Commissioning Ceremony - 2023.

He thanked the cadets for having the courage to defend our nation, and offered words of wisdom and encouragement to them.

Wildcats were in the holiday spirit today!! We took photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, then held a holiday party. During the party, we voted on the ugliest sweater, did a white elephant gift exchange, and were serenaded by our one-of-a-kind Wildcat choir🧑‍🎄
