Tropics Update: 40% Medium chance for tropical development in the Atlantic (far from any land and moving NE). This Low pressure area is now showing signs of development. It will have about 24 hrs to potentially become a Depression. After that, it reaches cooler water.

MON 2AM TROPICS OUTLOOK- Low pressure 500 mi. E of Bermuda continues to show signs of organization. Only a small increase of shower & thunderstorm activity is likely to result in the formation of a short-lived tropical depression or storm later today. It now has a high chance.

PATTERN CHANGE? Models are in better agreement that as high pressure weakens, an upper-level disturbance in the Bahamas will move our way. This will ramp up rain chances most likely starting Thursday & through the weekend. Scattered to numerous showers & storms possible. WSVN 7 News

MON 8AM TROPICS OUTLOOK- Low pressure 600 mi. East of Bermuda still has a high chance to form in the next 48 hours. If showers & storms increase around the center, a short-lived depression or storm could be classified in the Atlantic later today. It is no threat to land. WSVN 7 News

High pressure will stick around on Tuesday, keeping So FL with typical highs and some scattered storms. By Wednesday, an Upper Low moves in across the NW Bahamas, it should arrive across So FL on Thursday upping our rain chances then.

It's getting crowded in the Tropics: In the Atlantic Basin, there are 4 waves, all battling Saharan Dust. A low has a 60% chance for development in Northern Atlantic & moving NE. Chances came down from 70% earlier. In the Pacific, there's a 70% chance for organization in red area

Monday 8 pm Tropical Update: Two areas being watched. 1st in the Middle of the Atlantic has its chances for organization drop from 70% earlier, to 40% now. 2nd In the Pacific, a broad low maintains a 70% chance for development somewhere in red shading.
