End of an Era After decades of Regular and Reserve service, this week we said farewell to RQMS Hamilton. A good turnout from across the Battalion to say farewell but, more of a see you later as “Hammy” will remain with 7SCOTS as a Civil Servant in D Company.

We recently returned from our Annual Deployment on the Sennelager Training Area in Germany where we spent 2 weeks training with other 19 Brigade units on the biggest Reserve exercise for many years. More detail in this months Soldier Magazine. edition.pagesuite.com/html5/reader/p…

While our The SCOTS troops went to Germany for ADE, our Highland Band are now in #Nijmegen to provide much needed musical moral support to the participants in this years De 4Daagse Marches. We wish the best of luck to all taking part. Be the standard for others to follow!

It was an honour to attend the Army Reserve Basic Training Pass Out Parade in Grantham and to congratulate the The SCOTS soldies returning to 6 SCOTS & 7 SCOTS as well as everyone else who passed out today. Be the standard for others to follow.

A massive thank you to the Scottish Ambulance Service for supporting our training. This type of cooperation makes our training more challenging and more realistic, ensuring our soldiers are prepared for anything.
