Well well well….at 10pm last night Mrs. Tyneside became the proud owner of her first ever season ticket. Seat next to ours was available. Works a lot of Saturday’s but after 22 years together she’s got her own ticket. Gateshead born and bred, Newcastle based Bantams fan 🤣

You cannot buy that. You just cannot buy it. Unbelievable. And I’m so pleased my wife and 3 youngest were there. And the first person I saw on North Parade after the game was Labeeb Aslam . Loved sharing beers with him. What a day.

40 years ago today my dad took me to my first ever league game. We lost 5-2 to Reading albeit we went on to win the old Division 3 title at Bolton on the Monday (my first ever away game) Yet yesterday was the most incredible finish to a game in all that time. Hardly slept 🤣

40 years ago today I was stood with my dad and brother in the old Bradford End. We made it home safely. It is always very important to remember those that very sadly didn’t. A quiet somber mood today. Never forget.

Spent 2 hours in Newcastle airport. Football shirts wise the final score was Newcastle 31, Sunderland 12, Middlesbrough 1. Always used to see more SAFC than NUFC. For those unfamiliar, seems to be a competition in non-footballing places such as the airport, metro centre etc.
