Allan Winans was scratched from a scheduled start today for Triple-A Gwinnett when recalled by the #Braves to take Spencer Strider's roster spot. By the way, Bryce Elder started Saturday for Gwinnett, went 4 innings and gave up 6 hits, 3 runs and 3 walks with 4 Ks.

#Braves scored last 7 runs of the game, in the 5th through 8th innings, to pull out a 9-8 win over Arizona in a game they trailed 6-0 before they batted the first time, and 8-2 entering the bottom of the 5th.

Friday, they scored 4 unanswered in the 8th through 10th and won 6-5.

“It wasn’t good,” #Braves manager Brian Snitker said of Spencer Strider’s MRI, which show damage to the ulnar collateral ligament.

#Braves ’ Spencer Strider had some elbow pain or discomfort during the game and will be checked out more extensively Saturday, manager Brian Snitker said.
