Let us be bold in our love of Christ!

Praise be to God, who brings laughter and joy!

'Sacrifice and offering you don't desire but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required. Then I said 'Here I am; in the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart'” (Psalm 40).

Lord, teach us to follow Jesus. 🙏

Praise him with clanging cymbals;
praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! (Psalm 150: 5-6).

Today is Holy Trinity Sunday!
'Jesus came and said to them, ... 'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the [Holy Trinity] and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.'' (Matthew 28:16-20).

When Jesus was asked, 'which commandment is the first of all?', he taught us this:

On Memorial Day, we remember, honor and give thanks for those in the armed forces who have given their lives for the sake of peace, justice and freedom.

We’re celebrating 10 years of “God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday!

'I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being. May my meditation be pleasing to [God], for I rejoice in the Lord' (Psalm 104:33-34).

May is #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth , and Bishop Eaton reminds us that we are called to companionship. “For those who are living with mental illness, we see you. We stand with you, ready to listen and support you in your struggles, through good days and bad.”

Today we celebrate the Ascension of Our Lord. On Ascension Day, the 40th day after Easter, we celebrate Christ's ascension into heaven (or cosmos, as Martin Luther believed) after he was resurrected.

God, be with us in our deep and profound confusion. Open our hearts and minds for at least a little while, that we may attend to your words. #Prayer #Bread4theDay
