Our Scout Troop started work on the scientist badge this week with a classic experiment. There’s lots to think about on this one so they’ll be doing more experiments next week too! #SkillsForLife

🐞BUG VEGAS UPDATE🐛 The Cubs made their bug hotel 2 weeks ago now, and already it’s got over 20 woodlouse, 1 large slug, some spiders and other wriggley things!

Last week our Beavers got to exploring around the park! From the brooks to dens in the woods, we’ve been there!

Bug Vegas: Week 3 Our Cubs’ specially constructed bug hotel is into its third week and woodlouse are the big winners in the habitat!

Over the summer our Scouts are joining the charity Food for Life Wales in the kitchen to pack freshly made meals to be delivered to those in need. We’re helping out once a week and the Scouts are learning all about the less fortunate and how we can all help them.

This summer our Scout section joined up with Food For Life Wales to help make food for those in need. This week Cardiff and Vale Scout Area have recognised their hard work with a pathway award! Well done to all our Scouts who gave their time and efforts!

This week the Cubs put their environmental knowledge to the test! They’ve also began some home projects to try and help their house be more green! #SkillsForLife

We’re brining the BBQ to the celebrations at Park End Church today! Pop on down from 10am. Plenty of shelter from the wind, live music and hot food & drinks.

At the start of this year our new Squirrel Drey had its first ever session 🐿️ It’s a new adventure for us all, but every week our amazing young people are bringing 110%! Thank you to all the parents and leaders who are supporting their journey 👏👏👏
