A sausage sizzle with s'mores is always a great way to end the term! Huge congratulations to Esmie and Oliver who became the 3rd and 4th Scouts in our troop to be awarded their Chief Scout's Gold Award tonight!

All our sections came together for our Group Camp at Tolmers Scout Camp & Activity Centre last weekend! The Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs & Scouts took part in raft building, archery, climbing, fire lighting and much, much more!

The Scouts have arrived and are settling in at our summer camp! The tents are up, and this evening the Scouts have been having homemade burgers for their dinner! ⛺🍔

Scouts have been having an awesome time today, having a go at sailing on the Norfolk Broads! The Scouts all learnt to tack, jibe and steer the boats, and finished up this evening with marshmallows and a campfire! ⛵ 🏕️🔥

Yesterday the Scouts spent the day onsite, competing to complete as many Scout challenges as possible, before cooking paella on the fire for dinner, and having an evening paddle on the lake! 🚣‍♀️

We had a brilliant morning out off the coast of Lowestoft fishing for whiting and thornback for dinner! 🐟🐠

After our fishing trip, the Scouts returned to site for 24hrs of bushcraft and survival skills! They not only gutted and ate the fish they caught, but made shelters out of natural materials that they spent the night in!

After a night in their shelters the Scouts headed to Beccles Lido for a swim, a wash and race on the inflatables! The Scouts then raided Tesco for PLs pleasure, where they planned, shopped for and prepared a 3 course meal for their Patrol 🏊‍♀️👩‍🍳

We've made it back and summer camp is over for another year! Congratulations to ⚜️ Freddie, who was invested yesterday at (a wet!) Great Yarmouth 🏆 The Eagles Patrol who won the camp competition by just 10 points 🎉 Bella & Saxon presented with their Chief Scout's Gold Award

Our Squirrels were out and about at Forest for Change last night, learning about the density of liquids and making volcanoes as part of their Science badge!

Our Patrol Leaders & APLs have been enjoying Pumpkin carving, the scary maze and carnival rides on the first night of Scarefest!

Our PLs & APLs had a busy day at Scarefest yesterday, with the 3G swing, crate stacking and axe throwing during the day - capped off with the incredible fireworks last night! 🎆

Our Squirrels, Beavers and Scouts did brilliantly as always, representing the group at the Remembrance Parade this morning - well done to everyone who came along and took part!

Last night our Scouts put their culinary skills to the test, cooking a range of dishes over a campfire, including Duck Pancakes, mackerel, and chickpea & broccoli curry! We also welcomed 6 new Scouts into the troop, investing them around the campfire circle at Scout Park.

Last night the Scouts had a brilliant time trying some Choi Kwang Do! They all got stuck into the session and really enjoyed trying something new. A massive thank you to Rishi and the team from Islington Martial Arts for putting on such an engaging, structured and fun session!

Our Squirrels had a fantastic time at the District activity day last weekend, working towards the Builder badge, trying out some target sports and completing the Hot Chocolate scavenger hunt!

Two teams made up of some of our Patrol Leaders and APLs did brilliantly on Saturday, racing around London as part of Monopoly Run 'Live'! Well done to both teams, who managed to come 1st and 2nd in our respective groups!

Well done to our Scouts who took part in the North London Scout District Winter 'Mad' Hike in a sunny Broxbourne today! ☀️🥾 Congratulations to Wolves Patrol, who came within just a few points of winning & Lydia who was given a special award for helping another group with some first aid!

Ten of our Squirrels took part in the North London Scout District activity day yesterday! The Squirrels worked towards their Super Chef badge, lighting and cooking lunch over a fire, as well as exploring the area for their navigator badge. 🐿️🔥🧭

On Saturday our Cubs had a brilliant day out at Dockyard Chatham! The Cubs explored HM Submarine Ocelot, learnt about rope making and took part in the Lego Brickwrecks exhibit. We even invested two new Cubs, and our Cub Leader Sharon on HMS Cavalier!
