Up, up and away… into space! Tillery Street Y1/2 came in to learn about planets, stars, moons, astronauts …. everything in space! ALC Tillery Street Campus

Reception classes from Georgetown Primary have been thinking about “People who help us”. As well as thinking about people like farmers, crossing patrols, delivery drivers, teachers and vets, they visited a fire station, saw animals working with the police and rode in a police car.

Last week saw a collaboration between the Immersive Room and the Biodiversity Officer as we went pond dipping! Ebbw Fawr Secindary were the first to experience the partnership with outdoor and indoor sessions.

Another school studying space last week as Gwaunfarren Primary made the trip across from Merthyr to learn about our Solar System - a long journey, but not as long as an actual trip into space!! @GwaunfarrenSch

Reception class of Glyncoed Primary School - Grow Persevere Succeed came to find out what can be found at the seaside. We saw parasols on the beach, bubbles, sharks and fish under the sea and pirates sailing on the sea!

Y1 of Georgetown Primary are learning about the town they live in and came on for a whistle stop tour. They even helped to rescue the instruments that had fallen off the bandstand!
