I got Archer to take a 1.5 hour nap on his own AND managed to only spend 5 mins taking pics instead of 20 mins.

When you realize it’s your first Mother’s Day this weekend as an actual mom, but it’s just another day that you share with people. Lmao I don’t think I’ll ever know what having a special day for myself will be like as an adult.

Happy 1st Mother’s Day to me! Archer slept 7 hours straight, he finally became unconstipated (aka mama’s got shit fingers), my 1st postpartum period started, and I might wear jeans today for the first time in probably a year 🥴🥴 It’s going to be an interesting day.

My husband got us tickets, I’m so stoked 🥺😭💕💕

We finally got our taxes done today and we’re getting back like $8600 this year thanks to our solar so now we’re both discussing what tattoos we’re gonna get with it and planning a date night at Chili’s since we’ll “have money now” 😂 Priorities? Sure.

The ✨best✨ part about being a mom is how much you get forgotten, everyone seems to think staying at home with the baby is a vacation from work so why should you be tired, no one actually hears what you say, & every piece of your “old life” never returns. It’s wonderful 🙃🙃🙃

Also all I want for my birthday is to be left alone for at least 6 hours so I can cry & deal with a large, overdue anxiety attack about how much I hate myself. It’d probably be a little more beneficial if someone got me antidepressants & weight-loss pills but you get what you get

So I ended up giving myself a birthday present early. Ya girl got antidepressants 😂 I don’t want to tell my husband yet bc I want to see if he notices a difference in me once I’ve taken them for at least a few weeks. Here’s to hoping I can be a normal fucking person
