We have a really interesting bunch of Scouts, and found out all about their interests tonight as part of the Hobbies badge. We learned about everything from ballroom dancing, to Lego, to ants.

We had a night full of skills tonight - Beavers going over their navigation basics 🌎 and Cubs brushing up on their knots ➰ (becoming cowboys 🤠 in the progress!).

Scouts this week focussed on recycling as part of their Environmental Conservation badge. We had machines, water filters, and a killer outfit! ♻️

Our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had great fun this week on our virtual meetings (even if some of them don't look like it at the moment this photo was taken!). Just because we're #stayhome doesn't mean we can't keep Scouting!

All our young people had an amazing time joining our latest virtual meeting from their #CampAtHome. Some great camping set-ups ⛺, fake campfires 🔥 and homemade camp snacks 🍡.

39 of our members woke up record breakers this morning as they slept away from their bed as part of #CampAtHome. ⛺ As well as setting up tents, dens and fake campfires, we hosted a virtual campfire with games and songs. 🔥 Many had camp snacks like s'mores and camp donuts! 🤤

We're super excited that our safety measures have been assessed and we've been approved to run face-to-face activities for our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts! Our young people will have the opportunity to safely enjoy outdoor activities facilitated by our incredible volunteer team. 😁

Our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts all had amazing first nights back face-to-face. After months of Zoom calls, it felt brilliant to be back to some real practical activities. We were super impressed by everyone's fire lighting. It's a skill that really will stay with them for life.

On Tuesday, our Scouts competed in their very own Bake-Off from their homes via Zoom.🧁There were some amazing bakes, showing imagination and skill.🤩🍰We're just sorry the leaders couldn't taste them!😕

Our Beavers and Cubs had an amazing time find out about birds of prey from Joe's Bows tonight. 🦅🦉 We got to see a falcon, an owl and a hawk. We found out about what they eat and how they talk. Plus, we got lots of our questions answered!

All our members had an awesome time hunting for Easter eggs over the past couple of days. 🐣 It's great to be back outdoors again and working together, which is what we do best as Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. 🥳 We can't wait to do more and more as we are able to. 🧗

A truly noble day for our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts as we celebrated the St George's Day weekend. We honed our jousting skills, completed a rigorous obstacle course, slayed a dragon and created our own coat of arms. All with courage and bravery behind us.

Last Tuesday, in their first evening section night back, our Scouts went on a back to basics adventure. Half of them built some great shelters ⛺️, and the other half built their own fires 🔥 (not easy in the rain, but we had some success!).

This week our Beavers & Cubs practiced their firelighting skills and their efforts were rewarded with toasting marshmallows and making them into delicious s'mores! 😋🔥
