On the 5th of April 2024 , 4-H Zimbabwe successfully trained 40 AGRITEX officers from Chiwundura Rural District and handed smart tablets for them to use in the implementation of smart agriculture methods in a bid to mitigate climate change impacts.

He stressed that the deforestation in Chiwundura Rural District over the past 40 years has been alarming hence the need for such interventions that provide for vegetation through gardens.
4-H Zimbabwe Executive Director Mr John Muchenje has given a brief profile of the organisation and a clear understanding of the women-water-food nexus.
He highlighted the importance of such interventions particularly at a time when there is drought nationwide.
