Fantastic start to the morning with our reading lesson. We are excited to be reading Fizzlebert Stump by A.F.Harold this week.

We really enjoyed our session on resilience from the LFC foundation this week💪🏽

In our DT lesson this week, we learned different methods of strengthening paper. We tried ribbing, laminating and corrugating. These will be helpful when we design and make our shell structures. CroxtethCPS #croxtethdt

We’ve been using our learning in history to improve our typing skills this week. In our tying lesson we focussed on using the return key to create paragraphs and how to find punctuation on the keyboard. CroxtethCPS

We are writing a letter of persuasion to a famous author! Our chosen author is Samantha Baines👑, as one of our house teams is named after her & we LOVED reading Harriet vs. The Galaxy. We spent our experience day creating a fact file about her to use in our writing.CroxtethCPS

We love using Quizizz (now Wayground) to help us with retrieval. We did a bit of history retrieval practice this morning to see how much we had learned from our unit on the Romans.

We had a lot of fun looking after our local community today. It was great to see the impact an afternoon of litter picking can have - we made a real difference!

We had a special workshop about road safety from the Bobby Colleran Trust today where we learned how to cross the road safely and where the safe places to cross are.

In our first Spanish lesson of the new term, we started to learn the Spanish alphabet and compare its differences to the English one. CroxtethCPS

Today we learned about body image and what factors can impact it. We learned to give complements to celebrate our differences and then we discussed what we like about our own appearance and personality. 💛CroxtethCPS

We practised our listening skills in music today by trying to work out what hidden instruments we could hear and how they were being played. 🎶CroxtethCPS
