@4TaxFairness

We’ve been fighting for ten years to build an economy that works for all of us by making the wealthy and corporations pay their fair share in taxes.

If Trump and Republicans cut taxes for the rich again, the rest of us will absolutely be forced to pay for it.

Their tax cut extensions are set to cost around $4 trillion.

That will turn into cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and lots of other stuff—real quick.

Pay attention.

If we made the world’s 3,000 billionaires pay just a 2% wealth tax, we could raise over $300 BILLION every single year.

That would help us fight climate change, poverty, and inequality.

Brazil, Germany, South Africa and Spain have signed on. It's time America joined them.

Important new report from ITEP. Before the Trump tax law, about 50 of the most profitable corporations paid less than 10% in taxes. After the Trump tax law, that number almost doubled.

Stunning graph: the plummeting tax rates of the richest Americans. For the first time in history, billionaires have a lower effective tax rate than working-class Americans.

This is your May Day reminder that our economy grows when unions thrive and billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share in taxes.

We should be building our economy from the middle-out, not the top-down.

Trickle-down economics has never gotten giant corporations to share their price-gouging profits and corporate tax breaks with their workers.

That's what unions are for.

'Trump and his leading economic advisers claimed that the benefits of the bill would trickle down, resulting in substantial gains for U.S. workers and their families .... Instead, the law provided the largest tax cuts to the wealthy and profitable corporations.'

The benefits of corporate rate cuts in the Trump tax law did not trickle down.

One study found that “earnings do not change for workers in the bottom 90%.'

In 2022, the 200 largest corporations in America paid more than $1.1 TRILLION in profits out to wealthy shareholders.

Corporations can 100% afford to pay workers fairly AND pay their fair share in taxes.

Pass it on.

How do we know Trump's 'big, beautiful' tax cuts were skewed to the rich? We’ve seen the math.

The highest-income 1% are getting an average $61k tax cut per year.

The top 0.1% are getting $252k.

The bottom 60% of families are getting less than $1.25 per day.

It's a scam.
