Women from across the The Bands of HM Royal Marines and the UK Commando Force travelled to Commando Training to experience the infamous Bottom Field and share their experiences of serving alongside and part of the Royal Marines.

The UK Commando Force's Shore Reconnaissance Troop (SRT) has been training with the Norwegian Kystjegerkommandoen (KJK). Operating in the fjords of Northern Norway, their role is to covertly survey access points and gather intelligence.

Members from 47 Cdo attended a memorial service at Mount Edgcumbe (Official) today to commemorate #VEDay80 US troops departed here for Omaha Beach, Normandy for #DDay. This marked the beginning of the end for Nazi Germany and ultimately lead to Victory in Europe on this day 80 years ago.
