Just speculating, but HBCU and state school admissions could become more competitive following the recent affirmative action ban at elite universities. Many talented students who can no longer access those institutions may turn to HBCUs and state universities instead.

Even if an organization doesn’t explicitly state its values, they still show up in actions—whether intentional or not. It's better to clearly communicate core principles upfront to avoid ambiguity, so employees know what guides the organization's ethics.

Non-Problematic Black Man I can imagine. Right now my Alma mater is competitive especially for out of state students. I can imagine as MIT and GTech admit less black people, FAMU and A&T’s applications will continue to soar.
