Had a good storeroom tidy up and painted the floor this week. So many great resources ready to be used 😍 I have two other storerooms as well but forgot to get pictures of those ones.

New tubs ready for my weekly ‘follow up’ activities that will be made available to classroom teachers. Empowering Ss and supporting teachers to incorporate meaningful activity into their day. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes! #physed

New equipment for the first week back! Can’t wait to play with the Ss. Stay tuned for how they go. We will be using them for a basic chasing and tagging game and a more complex invasion game! Expensive though - cost me $6

Video feedback is such a powerful tool to help improve technique. I don’t do this all the time, but find it so valuable when I do. This great new touchscreen has made it so easy to do a little video review. #physed #viewsonic

If you had the opportunity to undertake any type of professional development in Australia or anywhere around the world what would you recommend? What things out there should be on my aspiration list?

I’ve been using these brightly coloured emotion balls as a check in with students when they arrive in PE, they have been a big hit. Student responses provide a good snapshot for me as the teacher!

A colleague and I are headed to New York & LA to explore community engagement in schools. We will be in New York on the 11th - 13th and in LA on the 17th - 18th of Oct. We are able to provide PD for any schools happy for us to stop by and visit their school! Looking to connect.

It seemed like it was time to start mapping out the school year ahead. There’s something exciting about a fresh start each year. I am keen to shake things up in 2023 🤙🏻

Couldn’t return back from visiting schools in America without my own pickle ball gear. Can’t wait to use these in my classroom!! Won’t be long before this game takes over down under!
