Tomorrow is our NAHS interest meeting for new members and those interested in running for office. ALL members must reapply for grade verification. A average in art courses after 1 class in Visual Arts at the HS level.

Teapots 🫖 are starting to look like teapots in Ceramics 1. Our theme is “nature” this year. Opening the door for more variety and choice. The fun part begins as they start to decorate next.

This week Ceramics 1 is decorating teapots 🫖 with their chosen nature theme . If they finish early a ☕️ teacup is made.

The first round of Ceramics 1 kids got their plant/candle holder submitted today. I can already tell it’s going to be a great semester. #ceramics #arteducation #pinchpots

During the Milton HS 9/11 memorial ceremony, Kanik Buxton presented this 4’ x 4’ painting. We are all very proud of the work Kanik put into it. It’s simply gorgeous! NAHS members made buttons for all the attendees and are experts with that button maker. #lovewillprevail

Thank you #3 Abigail Cushman and @ladyeaglesvolleyball for inviting me to teacher appreciation night! I had fun watching the game. The gift bag was lovely! I know what I’m wearing tomorrow and Lola played forever with the volleyball. 🏐

The cuteness just keeps coming!

Ceramics 3 has submitted the construction of their lidded jars. They should be out of the kiln Monday. Next surface must include alternative materials, not just glaze.

Sorry I can’t make Curriculum Night this evening. My baby girl, Lola, got pretty sick today. The vet gave her a few meds and fluids. She seems to feel a bit better. Side note- my 10 year old neighbor added tiny plants 🪴 to the tiny plant stand. 🥰

Ceramics 1 is no joke. When I can’t even keep the priority list in the right order but … Vase construction 🦺 starts on Monday.
