I publicly asked Downtown's councilman James Solomon where he stands on this issue several weeks ago. He never responded. Affordable housing champion Katie Brennan came out in favor. Mayors Fulop and Bhalla came out in support. But we've gotten nothing but silence from Solomon...

The idea that ICE goons can walk around masked and with zero ID because of 'doxxing' is absurd. Normal police walk around without masks. Judges, politicians, reporters, etc. all go maskless despite risks. ICE aren't special little snowflakes who get to dodge accountability.

The new stations, bought with a state grant, will expand JC coverage by nearly 50%, all in southern neighborhoods with little or no coverage now. They’re expected to arrive late summer or early fall. You can weigh in on exactly where they should go here: survey123.arcgis.com/share/06d1badc…

I'm not a planner, but I think living for several formative years of my youth in Paterson definitely affected me. People in Paterson would kill for the investment that Hudson County is getting.

There are over 3,000 people on the affordable housing waitlist. Building 150 income-restricted apartments downtown at 150 Bay Street will go a long way to getting someone an affordable home. We are organizing a meet up to let James Solomon know Jersey City supports this project.

Jersey City needs more housing. And a developer wants to build 1,000 new homes with 150 apartments set aside for low-income households and 100 more for artists. When you get the chance to turn a parking lot into a housing opportunity downtown, you seize it.

We were honored to stand w/ @BikeJC SafeStreetsJC, TRW, JC Hts Parents & JC Moms today in support of common sense reforms for street safety in JC. If you couldn't attend the rally, you still have time to drop by City Hall, where our reform agenda is being presented to Council!

North Carolina abolishes parking minimums while Trenton is sitting on their ass, letting NJT die and driving up construction costs.
