Two Riflemen from 3 RIFLES represented the Infantry Hockey Team at the Inter-Corps Championship in Aldershot.

The Infantry ultimately won the whole thing, beating the REME 5-4, coming back from a 0-3 score early on. Congratulations to Lt Cottrell - who scored - and CSjt Couch!

Yesterday saw the end of the The Rifles Dinghy Sailing Regatta! Hosted by 1Rifles in Cyprus, a 3 day event with teams from across the entire regiment competing on single and double handed sailing dinghies.

An excellent event with 1Rifles 🥇, 8Rifles 🥈 and CO 5 RIFLES 🥉

Soldiers spent three days with RestartAfrica in Gilgil, Kenya. This home offers a safe haven for abandoned children, in an area where drugs and violence are rife.

Riflemen provided some maintenance, and went on a hike and played football with the children.

The Battalion is returning from Ex HARAKA SPEAR in Kenya, however, before they left there were some excellent opportunities for AT. Riflemen took part in HARAKA HIKE, summiting Point Lenana on Mount Kenya. At 4,985m, it is the second highest mountain in Africa.
