When you’re next at your Squadron, take a minute to thank your staff for their efforts - it will make their day, I’m sure!

An afternoon of admin for the C.O. today. Lots of good events happening for our cadets in the coming months. Cadet Portal makes it a lot easier these days though.

Huge congratulations to Sgt Calum Macleod who passed his Master Cadet examinations today. It's been a number of years since we've had a Master Cadet at 379. Just because we can't all meet together in person, does not mean our cadets stop learning. Well done Sgt Macleod

We’re glad to announce that Sgt Macleod and Cpl Bruce have been awarded Squadron Commander Commendation Awards. Both have shown great commitment to the Squadron during this lockdown and demonstrated a drive to improve themselves and the squadron.

🌟#trainingtuesday 🌟 Every RAFAC CI, SNCO, Officer, Registered Civilian Committee Member & Staff Cadet must complete the mandatory training courses. They need to be repeated after a certain amount of time and then recorded so that activities and engagement can continue.

Huge delight in promoting Cadet Anderson to Cpl and Sgt Macleod to Flight Sergeant. We’re still virtual for now but getting closer to F2F. Congrats both of you.

We can’t attend a parade this year but 379 Squadron will always remember all those that served and died for our freedoms. Lest We Forget!

Delighted that HRFCA doing a large refurb of our Sqn starting end of Nov. We’ll have a fab fresh environment to return to in the new year.

We might not be at the Sqn just now but boy is it getting busy. Container now on site for us to empty the main building. 379 refit starting 30/11.

I want to wish all our RAFAC RAF Air Cadets family a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2021. Looking forward to eventual face-to-face parade nights as well as the formation of the new North Scotland Wing. #rafacfamily #whatwedo #staysafeoutthere

We remember NI Cdt Edward Wilson, 16, murdered when IRA booby trap exploded as he opened inner door of Air Training Corps hut in grounds of Cavehill Primary School. His father said Edward planned to join the family steeplejack business
