35ID staff conducted a sustainment rehearsal during the combined CPX at U.S. Army Fort Riley June 18. Training partners with the National Guard's MCTSP and two of the division's six aligned brigades provided feedback to ensure the division was delivering a clear and comprehensive plan.


The 35ID continued their combined CPX with the 1st Infantry Division with the combined arms rehearsal Aug. 18, receiving feedback from the deputy commanding generals before briefing the final CAR to the division commander. #readiness #Army2030 III Armored Corps National Guard


Maj. Gen. John Rueger, 35ID Commander, observed the Combined Arms rehearsal during the combined Command Post Exercise with 1st Infantry Division. In addition to the two divisions, several reps from the 35th's aligned brigades participated, including the 35th Division Artillery.

#SantaFeSoldiers put their skills to the test during the culminating exercise simulation of their CPX with 1st Infantry Division. For two weeks, the staffs have worked with training partners and aligned brigades to synchronize and plan for mission success. FirstArmy National Guard


BG Clay, 35ID DCG-O, presented coins to several 1st Infantry Division soldiers in recognition of their contributions to the success of the combined CPX. The two compos worked hard to make this training opportunity possible, enhancing interoperability and total Army #readiness. #Army2030



CG MG John Rueger and 35ID staff conduct an AAR of the combined CPX with 1st Infantry Division June 9-23. "This exercise was unprecedented for the 35th," said Rueger. "We've innovated to drive our training, and I don't think we could have gotten this level of training any other way."

Earlier this month during the 2024 35th ID Association Conference, three service members were inducted into the Division Hall of Fame - 2nd Lt. Victor W. Schultz (KIA), Warrant Officer Thomas E. Tholen, and Sgt. James T. Winsolw Junior. Kansas National Guard | Missouri National Guard



Maj. Gen. Joseph Baldwin, acting director of the Army National Guard , was a featured speaker at the 35ID #Readiness Symposium Sep. 7-8. The annual symposium included reps from the division's 7 aligned brigades across 6 states. #army2030


Lt. Gen. Milford Beagle, Commander of Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth, addressed participants of the 35th Inf. Div. #Readiness Symposium held at the division HQ in Leavenworth, Kan., Sep. 7-8. Participants hailed from all 7 of the 35th Inf. Div.'s aligned brigades across 6 states.
