Things that don’t bring joy usually aren’t worth doing. If you can find joy in what you consistently put your hands on, you’ve won half the battle.

If you’re a bitter & miserable person, chances are people around you can feel that. And if you attract the type of person you are, then that’s a vicious cycle to be in… Be aware of yourself, and make the change. Or don’t 🤷🏽‍♂️

Perspective applies to everything. There’s a reason my decisions won’t always line up with the next person’s decisions. Everyone is living in the same world, but through different lenses. Fighting over perspective without truly understanding is ignorant.

Doing something because, “that’s the way we’ve always done it” is the direct enemy of progress. We need to always be honest and check-in with ourselves by asking, “is this still the best way to do it?” Progress is supposed to be a little uncomfortable sometimes.

If you aren’t showing people how you want to be treated then it shouldn’t come as a surprise when you aren’t treated how you see fit. This rule is golden for a reason.
