The Sqn has returned from the Annual Inter Service Cadet Rifle meeting at Bisley where we competed against the ACF, Sea Cdts and RAFAC firing the L81 rifle at distances up to 600m. Our 2 teams were part of the London Air Cadets detachment with Tower Hamlets Air Cadets - 31 Sqn & 34F Squadron, Air Training Corps 1/3

Sgt Campbell, Cpls Hovenko & Selverajah all qualified for the coveted Cadet 100 qualification and Campbell/Selverajah gained Corps Blues in the winning RAFAC Teams in the Interservice Final. Cpl Selverjah also won the Boulter Trophy as the Top RAFAC cdt in the 100 competition 2/3

& a huge thanks to our staff for their coaching of the two teams and congratulations to CI Alex Sadler for winning the Staff Shoot. There have been challenges to overcome this year but with the aid of our colleagues in Middlesex & London Wings it was a successful competition! 3/3

241 provided a Guard of Honour for the WCJC marking 10 years of being affiliated with the company. Held at Stationers Hall, our cadets stood proud representing 241. FS Bennett, was honoured to attend the dinner and to be this year’s recipient of the Briner shield too!

Two of our cadets got to experience the wonders of flying and space at the National Air and Space Camp at RAF Syerston! Taking part in robotics, aircraft engineering, satellite communications, flight simulations and gliding our cadets left inspired about aerospace! #241sqnatc

10 of our cadets swapped their regular parade evening for a new challenge - High Ropes! Harnessed in, our cadets experienced a variety of obstacles at height, with many cadets overcoming their fears of heights or working together to overcome tricky obstacles.  #241SQNATC

Prior to Remembrance Day the Squadron collected for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in Loughton and Wanstead & Woodford. With every cadet contributing to the effort we were able to raise over £4000! #241Sqnatc
