how could you ever EVER laugh at the SUCCESS of these women??? I will actually never look at those men the same ever again. The usa womens hockey team deserves an apology and so much more.

Don’t let this overshadow the fact that the USA women’s hockey team had one of the most dominant tournaments in HISTORY They are gold medalists, they went out and won on the biggest stage in the world, they got my grandmother (who barely even watches the NHL) gushing about them!

actually i think women should be allowed to acknowledge that the sport they love doesnt love them back without being told "ok so then just watch pwhl"

this season has been a huge fuck you to women between the hockey canada case, the podcast comments, the usa women’s hockey team joke, and the comments you get just because you like hockey and happen to be a woman.

Hilary Knight also mentions in this interview that this should be a learning experience for how we talk about women, not only in sports but elsewhere.
