The Boys’ Brigade Cross for Heroism was awarded to James Patrick (aged 11 years, 10 months) of the 208th Glasgow Company for prompt action which resulted in saving the life of a five-year-old Boy ⚓️

208th Glasgow BB - Greater Pollok #BoysBrigade
St James' opened its doors to worshippers in Pollok in 1953, however it once stood in Glencairn Drive, Pollokshields.
It was moved stone by stone by Thomson, McCrea & Sanders to Meikelrig Crescent in 1951.
The church has also been home to Village Storytelling & 208th Glasgow BB - Greater Pollok
