🐯Lindeneau leaders are building a superhero headquarters this week after listening to the story, "Even Superheroes Have Bad Days" by Shelly Becker. ⭐️

It is the last week of library and K-2 are participating in a LEGO Challenge called Secret Zoo! 🐘 Can you guess the animals built based on its habitat? 🐯🦁

At the library this week, 3-5 have a LEGO MEGAFIGURE challenge❗️Ss will be given a LEGO object and attempt to rebuild it at the largest scale possible🧱

🎉HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🎉 We will be starting off 2026 with Mo Willems' pigeon-themed STEM challenges! 🚌🍪

VROOM! VROOM! 🚌 This week, Ss are building a vehicle for pigeon to drive Lindeneau School library!

TAKE A 👀! After listening to the story, "The Duckling Gets a Cookie!?", 2nd graders are creating a structure using only five sheets of paper that can support the weight of ten cookies. 🍪

At the library this week, 3-5 will be celebrating! "Fail-a-bration" shows readers that mistakes are valuable chances to learn. The STEM activity is the Oreo Bridge Challenge 🍪 Can you build a bridge made of Oreos that can support the weight of a cup of marbles?

The tables are LAVA this week at the library! 🌋 K-2 will build the tallest structure they can to prevent the snowmen from melting! ⛄️

This week, 3-5 will visit the library & work on an icy slopes STEM challenge using KEVA planks! ❄️

At the library this week, K-2 will prepare for the holiday by listening to, "Grumpy Monkey: Valentine Gross-Out" 🐵 K-1 will work on some fun crafts & grade 2 will have a STEM challenge to build the tallest tower using candy hearts & craft sticks 💝

❤️Happy Valentine's Day Week! ❤️ 3-5 will be listening to, "All We Need is Love...and a Really Soft Pillow" by Peter H. Reynolds before working on the STEM paper heart stack engineering challenge!

In honor of Black History Month, K-2 will listen to, "Not Quite Snow White" by Ashley Franklin. This story celebrates self-love & breaking stereotypes. K will work on royal crafts & 1-2 will use KEVA planks to build a castle for Snow White and her 7 dwarves to live in. 💜👑

This week, 3-5 will listen to, "Just Snow Already!" by Howard McWilliam. There will be a Snowman Stretch Challenge! ❄️☃️ Use the materials to create the tallest snowman you can. Prizes will be awarded according to: 🔨Tallest 🎨 Most creative 🤝 Best Teamwork

This week is all about camouflaging! After listening to "Winnie the Witch", K-1 will color Wilbur and disguise him in a LEGO scene. 2nd grade will be given a mini object to camoflauge into their scene they build. Will I be able to find it? 🤔🔍

It's fractured fairytale week Lindeneau School library! In, "The Poisoned Apple", Snow White turns the tables when the queen’s apple plan goes wrong 🧙🏻‍♀️ For the STEM Challenge, Ss will use limited materials to design the tallest & strongest tower that can hold the weight of an 🍎.

This week, we will read about a snake who learns the importance of honesty and respecting other people’s work in the story, "Snake's Big Mistake" by Sarah Kurpiel 🐍 Ss will get to design their own snake with perler beads & create a habitat for it using LEGOs!
